Mountain Meadows is located in the heart of farm and ranch lands where horses play an integral part of the southern Alberta lifestyle. We understand that these animals are cared for with true passion and love and that is why we offer equine cremation services. There are two types of cremation offered; communal and private.
Communal Cremations
Your horse will be picked up at your veterinary clinic of choice or alternate arrangements can be made for pick up at location. The animal is then cremated and the ashes are spread among the Mountain Meadows of southern Alberta.
Private Cremations
We offer private cremations for individual horses because many animal lovers choose to keep a special memorial of their pets. Arrangements are made for the pick up of your animal. The animal is then cremated alone and the ashes are returned in a complimentary scatter box. Clients may choose to upgrade to a locally handcrafted wooden urn that is specially designed for larger animals.
